On the way back from Clacton-on-Sea yesterday evening, I had an enjoyable meal at The Cross Inn, Horsley Cross. My lamb was nice and tender, the service friendly and efficient, and there was a pleasant atmosphere to boot. Interesting to note there was not one drinker, only eater’s.
