Motor Racing Programme Covers

2004 Additions

September 29, 2004

Thanks very much to the following contributors for having sent cover scans over the past month or so, and for their patience in waiting for their upload.

In no particular order, they are: Martin Spetz, James Pernikoff, Jean Louis Mathieu, Quintin Cloud, Kento Nozaki, Alexey Rogachev (original RU, or translated EN), Terry Buschmann, and Bill Spellerberg; Martin Krejčí, Levente Szalay, André Luiz, Tooru Kitajima, Rudi Odendaal, John Allen, Will White, Rafal Rokicki, and an anonymous contributor.

I'm sorry I've not got any more details on which covers were contributed by who, but I can point out some highlights… The Angoulême 1950 cover is signed by none other than Juan Manuel Fangio, while the Interlagos 1991 cover is signed by Ayrton Senna. The Kyalami 2004 cover is from the first ever two-seater Grand Prix, involving Minardi. Four new track pages are added today: Tokachi in Japan, Stardust in Las Vegas, and Pirita & Nevskoe in the former USSR.

I'm afraid I've still not got the time to make updates of any quantity, but since I received a cover yesterday for today's race, I thought I should probably add it. Thanks to James Pernikoff for the quick scanning & sending.

This update consists of covers from only one contributor — Wolfgang Neumayer — probably the site's most prolific.

09:20 (GMT)

Only three contributors are to thank for today's new covers, and they are Jean Louis Mathieu for the further Angoulême covers, Martin Spetz for the short-lived Langhorne (new track page) and Santa Barbara covers, and Wolfgang Neumayer for all the rest.
